Katie Turner (She/Her) serves as Development Coordinator, in this role, she supports the development of the organization. She also provides support in coordinating and processing of grants, payments, proposals and reports.

Prior to joining Children Now she worked for a Federal Student Support Service widely known as TRiO serving students from diverse backgrounds. She motivated students to develop self-advocacy, ask questions, and locate resources as well as supporting them educationally and personally. She also organized the development, marketing, and delivery of student success workshops. She is passionate about helping a meaningful cause. She also served as President at College of the Redwoods where she also got her Associates degree. She then transferred to San Francisco State University to get her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

She enjoys spending time with family back home, taking care of her animals, and trying new things.
